Chris Noth was her co-star. Hennessy was raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy worked as a meat vendor and marketing executive. This job required lots of traveling, and the Hennessy family was frequently moved. Maxine the secretary mom of Maxine was the last of her family members when she relocated from Kitchener Ontario in 1982. Her daughter was then turned to her mother Eleanor. She has a twin sister Jacqueline is a magazine writer, and her older brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was born in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish French Swedish and Italian family ancestry from her father's side and mostly Ukrainian Roma as well as Austrian heritage on her mother's side. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School after which she graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute in Kitchener Ontario and used to busk on her local Toronto subway. Hennessy was twins in Dead Ringers with her older sister. She was short listed for the part of Dana Scully on The X-Files as per Gillian Anderson the actress who was eventually cast in the role. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple has had two kids.
