Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for over forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The album was released by her too late for Tina the in the same year. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She played Griselda who was a character from the movie. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. Her next role that she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up for in 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to the glamorous image that she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years Tapping has also emerged as the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever for the last ten years.
